fudgester SG I had a very, very terrible experience with their customer service the last time it broke down. And the camera was only seven days old when that happened. It's a bit hard and long-winded to explain... but suffice to say that I got one of their customer service officers into disciplinary action and threatened to go down to CASE if they didn't address my concerns in double-quick time. In the end I managed to get them to do a one-to-one exchange. If they pull off a similar stunt this time round, I'll make sure that a few heads there undergo rolling motion.

the Bear SG for point and shoot cameras, get Nikon or Sony (seriously) for SLRs, get Nikon if you have too much money, get Hasselblad
av98m SG what did they do, try to tell you its your fault and they're going to charge you for the repair, or say that they will need to hang on to your camera for months because got no spare part

fudgester SG My finances are a little tight at the moment. I am honestly planning to get rid of this junk once it's repaired, but I can't really spare the money right now. It would have to wait for a few months at least. It doesn't help that my stooopid Creative MP3 player is begging to be replaced as well.
av98m SG Quite jialat man. I'd have more or less reacted the same way. Reminds me of the time I emailed a query to the pacific internet tech support years ago. The customer service person fowarded my email to a colleague with the message "please help this idiot". Problem was, she cc'ed the email to me by accident When I called her on it, she tried to backpeddle by claiming that she really meant to type "please help this, idiot", with the word idiot referring to her colleague. I told her, who the hell was she trying to kid Anyway, I did not pursue the matter further. I was in a really good mood at that point in time

viciouskitty74 SG Hur hur hur... I made pork nuggets with parmesan cheee for the kids & mama. Now surfing the internet to try to find ways to cook the vietnamese spinach and get rid of its muddy earthy smell. Sis insisted that I do that. So here I am, lazing around and reading the posting on the forum. Poor HAM!!!!! Slimy Green! Darn!..its only good for compost I guess. Bury them somewhere in the ground and plant a tree on it? And pls....no more accidents....I hate to remember about accidents. The time I bang into a taxi backside. The other time when a taxi driver tries to claim I bang into his bumper....and there was red paint on that bumper....But the vehicle I drove was a full silver lorry. Then that time on a motorcycle and a Kia Picanto with a navy boy driving his new g/f home. Sigh.....
